| The Installing Master was W Bro Barry Tomlinson, who performed the ceremony that was conducted with feeling throughout. It was obvious to all present that W Bro Barry has the highest respect for W Bro George. | |
| W Bro David Anderton was due to attend the meeting to act as the PGM’s Representative for the evening; unfortunately he was unable to attend as he had to remain at home to look after his wife, who is making good recovery following a heart operation. His duties were carried -out by W Bro Derek Horrocks who acted as an excellent replacement. | |

| Prior to the Installation Bro Bill Wenton and W Bro Jack Parker became joining members of the lodge, Both Bro Bill and W Bro Jack thanked the Worshipful Master and the brethren of Excelsior Mark lodge for their confidence and promised to become active members of the lodge, and during the appointment of officers the Worshipful Master was pleased to give them a job. | |
